
Ece won first prize in Category A of the 1st National Izmir Flute Competition, which she participated in at the age of 13 in 2011.
In 2012, she took part in the concert “Mediterranean Journey/ Our Children” organized within the scope of Bogaziçi University Albert Long Hall Classical Music Events.
In 2013, she gave a concert in the 3rd International Pera Music Festival. After that, she won the audition of the Turkish-German-French Youth Orchestra and she became a member of the orchestra under the direction of Naci Özgüç. Same year, she won the second prize in the 1st Halit Turgay Flute Competition held with the audience vote in the Halit Turgay Flute Summer School. Later that year, she took part in the musical “In Front of the Door” organized by Darüssafaka Educational Institutions as the first flutist under the direction of Kerem Memisoglu and Serdar Yalçın in the Istanbul Youth Symphony Orchestra.
From 2013 to 2016, she worked as the principal flutist in the Istanbul University State Conservatory Symphony Orchestra conducted by Ramiz Melikov Aslanov and Arda Ardases Agosyan.
In 2015, she participated to the student exchange program and she went to Germany to play in the concert “Friendship Concert / West Meets the East” sponsored by Sisli Rotary Club. She gained her first soloist experience with the orchestra at the age of 18 by winning the Young Soloists Auditions of the Eskisehir Metropolitan Municipality Symphony Orchestra by playing Aram Khachaturian’s Flute Concerto under the direction of Isın Metin. She took part in the CD recording of Mersin Flute Concerto composed by Halit Turgay as a member of Mersin Chamber Orchestra. After, at the same year, she won the Young Soloists Auditions of the Mersin University State Conservatory and performed Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Flute Concerto in G Major under the direction of Münif Akalın. In the summer of the same year, she gave a recital at the Istanbul Woodwind Festival.
From 2016 to 2020, she worked as the principal flutist in the Mersin University State Conservatory Academic Chamber Orchestra, Mersin University State Conservatory Student Orchestra and Mersin Chamber Orchestra under the directions of Münif Akalın, Orhan Sallıel, Artun Hoinic, Daghan Dogu and Daniel Fedorean.

In 2017, she participated to the AKOB Chamber Music Competition organized by the Mediterranean Opera and Ballet Club Association (AKOB) with two different groups and they won the second prize with the group “Akdeniz Trio”, which they formed together with Basak Gürbüz (cello) and Özgür Deniz Akalın (piano); and also they won the Kemal Rastgeldi Special Honorable Mention Award with the group “Fauré Trio”, which they formed with Eren Çam (clarinet) and Irem Yunkus (piano).
In 2018, she participated to the 3rd Mediterranean Chamber Music Competition with two groups as well and they won the second prize with the group “Khachaturian Trio”, which they created as Eren Çam (clarinet) and Irem Yunkus (piano); and the other group “Kilikya Sextet” with Meri Musaev (oboe), Eren Çam (clarinet), Gülce Demirhan (bassoon), Barıs Eren Türkmen (horn) and Özgür Deniz Akalın (piano) was awarded with the Honourable Mention / Kemal Rastgeldi Special Award. After in the same year, she took place at the world premiere concert of the Mediterranean Rhapsody, composed by Halit Turgay, in Mersin University State Conservatory Academic Chamber Orchestra by playing the bass and piccolo flutes. She participated in the MusicAlp Festival held in Tignes/ France in the summer of the same year. In 2019, she obtained the scholarship from Mediterranean Opera and Ballet Club Music.
She gave concerts with many pianists in particular; Misha Dacic, Qiachou Li, Seungwon Li, Fuminori Tanada, Misaki Baba, Zümrüt Aliyeva Özdemir, Özgür Deniz Akalın, Gülnare Şekinskaya, Ayça Öztarhan Kocatürk, Melin Molla, Özlem Ebesek, Elvan Altınel, Ayan Kömür, Irem Yunkus and Aslı Demirag. And also, she played in concert halls such as Salle Cortot, Salle Munch, Jean-Jacques Henner Museum, Süreyya Opera, Yeldegirmeni Art Center, Barıs Manço Culture and Art Center Concert Hall, Caddebostan Cultural Center, Pera Fine Arts High School, Mersin Naval Museum, Singen Youth Music School and TIM Show Center. In the 2020-2021 academic year, Yüksel had the chance to become one of the 15 young musicians who qualified for Music Scholarship of Dr. Nejat F. Eczacıbası Foundation.
In 2020, she won the auditions of the Berlin Opera Academy (BOA) in 2020 and had the opportunity to become a member of the orchestra to be held in the summer of 2021 and to play in the performances to be held in Theather im Delphi Hall in Berlin. At the same year, Yüksel won the scholarship of “Tomorrow’s Female Stars: Young Women Musicians Support Fund” from IKSV which was implemented with the cooperation of Turkey Industrial Development Bank (TSKB), to qualify to benefit 12 young women musicians and she took place at 48th Istanbul Music Festival in the concert with the same title.
